Default Help! I need a dimension for a E-flite Park 370 Outrunner Motor?

Hi,

I'm designing an airplane for somebody that will be using an E-flite Park 370 (1080Kv) Outrunner motor, and I need to know what the dimension is from the back of the cross shaped mounting bracket (where it mounts to the firewall), to the drive washer on the bullet shaped prop adapter (where the back of the propeller mounts up against)? I'm recessing the motor into the front of the airplane, and I want to make sure the prop will clear the front end.

I just thought of a couple more dimensions that would be helpful, since my initial post, and was hoping that somebody could also supply me with the two dimensions shown for the mounting plate?

Thank You,

Mark

Default RE: Help! I need a dimension for a E-flite Park 370 Outrunner Motor?

Sorry, don't have that motor, I tracked down the E-Flite specs. hopefully this helps some.

Shaft Diameter: 3.17mm (1/8 in)
Overall Length: 25mm (1.00 in)
Weight: 45g (1.6 oz)
Overall Diameter: 28mm (1.1 in)
Diameter: 28 mm (1.1 in)
Length: 25 mm (1 in)

It should be 1" from the back of the motor where it mounts to x adapter, to the start of the motor shaft.

Thanks for the reply fliprob17m...but I already have the specs you listed above. []

I don't want to base my design on what I think the dimension "should" be though. I'm hoping that somebody could give me an exact dimension taken from the motor/prop adapter combo that I plan on using.

Even if we are correct in assuming that the 1" dimension is from the firewall to the start of the shaft. I still don't have any dimensions on where the prop adapter mounts to the shaft, and once mounted, where this will put the drive washer in relationship to the firewall.

So if somebody has this motor/prop adapter combo, could you please measure it for me?

Thanks!

Mark
