Default Need a 400 speed brushless replacement for direct drive

Is there a direct replacement that won't break the wallet? Trying to fly a 400 speed warbird with brushless :}

Here are two examples, obviously the E-Flite is the more reliable of the two motors, but you pay for it.

Due to the design of the plane, it needs to be an in runner not an out runner

Thanks for the help flip. Actually the motors listed require a gearbox. I need a brushless direct drive due to the steamline nose of the warbird. Something that will spin a 5-6" prop and fit just like the speed 400 can motor.

WHOOOPS, sorry, didn't go back to the first post to remember that.
Maybe something like this then, but it does not say what weight of plane to spec. it for. Check the sizes vs. your speed 400 motor.

The instruction manual they show is for a gear drive, but is says you can run it without one. With a lower kv rating I don't think you will have a problem running it direct.

Go to Mile high RC. Mike has some great motors at great prices and no shipping costs. Tell him Gearboxes sent you.
