Hi Guys,
I've setup my brushless motor, connected to esc via a 1700 lipo battery....I have issues when using throttle, it is always cutting off, if i go full throttle really slowly, it will spin to full rpm, any sudden jerky movements of the throttle, it will cut out untill i go down throttle and slowly go back up...HELP PLEASE!!!

Some more info. about you equip. would help, sounds like it could be a voltage cut-off issue with the ESC maybe or Amp overload. But there are a bunch of possibilities.

Guys,
I have been flying electrics for 4 years and have many planes. Sal2006 you most likely are using a battery that can't handle the load or your LVC is setto the wrong battery level.
I have a problem of my own. I have a Esskay motor and 10 amp CC ESC. The motor twitches back and forth then finally forward. It just started doing this. It was fine before.

Generally the motor just does what it is told to do by the ESC. So I would start there. Maybe by reprogramming the ESC if it has a programming mode, or maybe a solder connection. What type of motor is that? Is it brushed or brushless, i have never heard of it.

Sounds like it's over amped. Try the next size smaller prop for starters. More info would be helpfull to pinpoint the problem. What motor, ESC, and batt.
