Default Brushed Motors: What does the 480 mean?

What does the 480 (or 380 or 540 or 600) mean? Is it referring to rpm or Watts or what?

What is the equivalent of a 480 in brushless motor?

For a brushelss motor to match a 480 brushed motor, youd probably be looking for something in the 110-120 watt range.

Just a little clarification. They are not 480 mm long, etc..... drop the zero on any of those and that is how long the motor can is, so 48mm, etc......

I really like the E-Flite stuff. This ESC will do 4 micro servos without a problem. And the battery will be fine with this setup. You may want to jump to a 2100mah battery to get some longer flight times, closer to 15-20 minutes.
