brushless motor question.
A friend gave me 2 of theese motors and I was wondering what size they would be if they were brushed. Comparing them to a gws400.
Thanks phaz

RE: brushless motor question.
They should be better than a bog standard GWS 400 - they say 12A max, but the worrying thing is the 84W max recommendation - that means 12A on only 2s, not 3s. Thus, if we believe that they cannot cope with 84W they are worse than a GWS 400 - which can take 100-120W max.

RE: brushless motor question.
If it has the torque to spin it, I would hazard a guess that an 11x7 GWS HD might draw about the right current (9-10A) on 2s. You could also try 11x4.7 APC SF, even 11x7 APC SF (but only if these don't take it over 12A).
