Default gear box for Go-Brushless type cdrom motors

Want to buy a gearbox that comes with pinion gears that will fit the shaft of a Go-brushless motor shaft (3mm). Failing that I wonder if drilling out a speed 400 gear box pinion gear would work?? Where do you guys with CD rom motors get your gear boxes?? Many thanks.

Default RE: gear box for Go-Brushless type cdrom motors

Most converted CD-ROM motors are used in direct drive applications without gearboxes. However, here are some threads on the topic.
