Minimag Brushless
Hi!
I am going to get a [link=http://www.sussex-model-centre.co.uk/shopexd.asp?id=5608]Minimag[/link], and I have been recommended to go brushless.
I was thinking about getting [link=http://www.sussex-model-centre.co.uk/shopexd.asp?id=5608]this recommended kit[/link] for it, but I have found a cheap website for brushless stuff.
I have spoken to the guy at BRC Hobbes, and he recommeds:
[link=http://www.b*********.co.uk/?page=shop&action=additem&item=29]This ESC and motor[/link] - £29.99
[link=http://www.b*********.co.uk/?page=shop&action=additem&item=472]This battery (11.1V lipo 1700mah)[/link] - £26.99
[link=http://www.b*********.co.uk/?page=shop&action=additem&item=334]This charger/balancer[/link] - £39.99
An 8x4 or 8x6 prop..
Total: £96.97 + prop
What do you think of the sound of this setup?
Thanks for your help,
Andrew

RE: Minimag Brushless
I'm Using a 9 x 6 E for windy days but the 8 x 8E electric works really good and lots of flying time with it. about the brushless I would use a 1000kv,, but you must use a motor mount stick to use a brushless because the motor mount with the kit will break on your first bad landing.
