Default Hacker Motor Problem

I got a Hacker A30 Brushless motor for Christmas.

I can't believe I messed up my new toy so early after Santa came.

I decided to take the shaft out to lighten it a bit since I would not need it for my purposes.

There are two set screws that hold the shaft in place just like a wheel collar set screw.

Unfortunately, I stripped one of the set screws and it is really in there. As a result I cannot get the shaft out. Any ideas on how to get the set screw out?

Should I drill it and retap the hole? Or is one good set screw enough to hold the shaft in place?

I tried a bit of JB weld on the end of the alan wrench and let it harden but it stripped too.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
