I am sure this question has been asked a million times here, but I could not find the answer.I have several new speed controller for brushless that do not have colored wires coming out of the end that conects to the motor(3 wires). How do i know which one goes where,or does it not matter? For that matter,I have a couple motors that have all 3 wires the same color(black)and how does that work? Thanks for the help.

fish,
just plug all all 3 in and test the motor WITHOUT a prop and which way the motor turns if its right you got it and can leave it alone if it turns clockwise (from the front of plane) change any 2 of the wires and it should turn the right way counter clockwise from front.
hope this helps.

bassman is exactly right. The colors of the wires on brushless ESCs and motors don't mean a thing.
If a brushless motor runs on the wrong direction, just swap any two of the wires.

Swap any two of the three motorwires. NEVER EVER reverse battery polarity to reverse rotation, will fry your controller (and electronics in general).
