Dymond 100A Esc
Hi,
I have been given a large electric pattern plane that is set up for Axi 4130-16 which requires 80A or higher ESC. I am trying to find a 'budget' ESC - most of them seem to be close to $200. I see that Dymond (www.rc-dymond.com) has a 100A esc for $59. Has anyone used Dymond ESCs? Are they any good? Does anyone have any recommendation for a budget ESC.
I found an online store that sells the Axi 4130 for $106 and am planning on using Zippy batteries.
thanks
John

That's an excellent motor, but it's a 40 amp motor (60 max). I like the Castle HV45 with 9 cells for this motor with 13x6, 13x8 or 14x6 props.
Where did you find this motor for $106, that's a great deal.
