Default how to test electric plane components?

I PURCHASED A VOLT/CONTINUITY METER. {STILL LEARNING THAT TOOL} WHEN PLANE IS ASSEMBLED ALL COMPONENTS WORK {SERVOS}BUT MOTOR WON'T COME ON. NO CHIP. ALREADY REPLACED SPECTRUM DXI6 RECIEVER. STILL NO LUCK.
TESTED AS MANY CONNECTIONS AND SOLDER JOINTS FOR OHM'S AND THEY SEEM FINE, NO SHORT INDICATION.
BINDING WAS FINE.
MY NEXT STEPS ARE TO PUT COMPONENTS ON TEST TABLE, SWAP OUT MOTOR AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. wISH THERE WAS ANOTHER WAY TO GET TO THE PROBLEM FASTER.

Can't tell much from pix except it looks like there are too many connections. For example appears like you have extended wires from ESC to motor, perhaps others as well, not too good. Usually your problem is caused by not following ESC instructions for programing or plugging wire from ESC into wrong rx input.

That all looks far more complicated than it needs to be. What if you remove all connections to servos etc, and you simply connect pack to ESC (and Rx) to motor - does it run then?

Ted,Kiwi,
I 'll clean up the pics and send them again. The only extension are for the harness/airloins. Placement is wide open the way I set it up. But I understand your comments.
I'll simply pull the mechanics out for another view and I'll try your suggestion Kiwi.
Thank you.

Have you checked the ESC program to make sure it is set to either "Auto" and/or set to the proper battery voltage? I know one of my ESC's does not work except when connected the 11.1 3-cell Lipo ( default setting in the ESC) Another check is to make sure the throttle is all the way off (check trim also) because many ESC's wont arm unless the throttle pluse with indicates "OFF".

Just my thoughts. Also, what is the extra circuit board shown? Is it a voltager?

That's a bec. Needed to regulate the esc for propervoltage.
I'm gonna jump into this in reverse and swap out motor and see waht happens. Alot of trial and error, due to my lack of electrics.

I've always followed this rule in trouble shooting electronics. See if you can divide trhe circuit in half. Then Isolate the problem to one half. If you continue this methode you'll have your solution in no time.

Just anotherv thought. If you are using a seperate BEC I believe you must remove the red wire from the ESC that goes to the receiver. Don't know what kind of probelms it causes if you leave it connected.

The problem ended up being a broken/cracked joint under the esc cover. It was suggested to me that when you apply velcro that when you pull it from the mate the velcro may have pulled on the skin and seperated the component part.
Getting a new esc.
w/internal ubec
Thanks for everyone's help.

Good point. I always keep one side of my broken props (many to chose from) and use it by sliding it between the two velcro pieces. This keeps all the force off all wires and components.
