Hi, last year i purchased an arf e-starter foam airplane kit that comes with a ep350-c motor and gearbox (5.33:1), I tried it with the ep1080 prop but it seems that prop take too much power. I upgrade to 9.6 volt battery and a ep1047. Looks like that i have more thrust with that prop.
i would like to go to brushless motor but how to find the right motor for my airplane. Is there any conversion table that exist from brushed to brushless ? Also is it better to have direct drive or with a gearbox? I read about brushless motor but i did not find what motor can replace the ep350-c yet.
