Default NEED YOUR ADVISE

Hi,

I have a multiplex easystar with stock motor and an Elecrifly 25amp ESC. At present i run it on a 7.4v 2 cell 1300mah lipo.

If i use a 3 cell 11.2 volt lipo will i burn out the ESC or the motor.

Your advise will be deeply appreciated.

Thank you.

Your ESC will be fine, but your motor life will be shorter even if, as you should, you reduce the prop size in order to keep the amp draw below 8-10A. That said, lots of guys seem to advocate 3s on the stock motor and prop... but how long do their motors last?
