It does seem like direct advertising to me, Ron. I have contacted the Danlions company directly and offered to run a motor or two on my test stand, to see if they are "miracle motors, or not", but as yet no reply.

Nevertheless, I'm a sucker for black and gold
Remember the old John Player Special Formula 1 racing team, and poor [link=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronnie_Peterson#Death]Ronnie Peterson[/link]?

True.!
His death was now long ago but not forgotten!
Didn't Mario win the championship with the same Black and Gold ?
As I remember it , it was a Lotus but the years tend to blur things a bit_____?????????

If you look at the danlions website, they have posted very extensive sets of specs for each motor... looks good... until you realize that at least some of them are clearly incorrect... so which ones can you believe if they don't proof their pages. For example the 2208/20 is the highest Kv (1890), and is rated for 16A burst... the /26 is intermediate Kv (1470) and rated for 11A burst... the /34 is the lowest Kv (1180) yet rated for 18A burst (with an 11A ESC recommended???).... and the smallest prop size????

Hello
did have the opportunity to test-fly the 2820/12 and the 2820/14....(will test the 2217/16 and the 2217/20 in a week or two - and the brand new 2221/12 andd 2221/16)..
The engines are very properly manufactured, with a clean wiring and protection of the wiring on the front of the engine. I do not talk about colour combination and packaging which both are very eye-catching....
With the 2820/14 we did get following figures at max. RPM:
360 Watt at 10.6 Volt - 7000 RPM/min - 34.5 Amp on a APC13 x 6.5 E
The 2820/12 shows following results :
400 Watt at 10.6 Volt - 7300 RPM/min- - 39 A on a APC13 x6.5 E
Best regards
Alvin
