Default Speed 600 to Turnigy C3530-1700 transplant

Hi all,
I have an Aquila 2 with speed 600 powered glider and the motor is broken but i have lying around the spares pile a Turnigy c3530-1700 aerodrive, can i use the brushless (with 3c lipo and speed control to match) and could i use the old graupner gear prop,12-10"(max 7000rpm)
and does anybody know the c of g also please?
I dont think you can fly too many types of planes and whilst i like an occaional bit of thermal and slope soaring my knowledge of electric motors is very nearly nill
Thankyou
mark
