Need help identifying and programming this ESC
I bought a foamie with this ESC on it. Can anyone identify it or give me some advice on programming it?
Maybe get a manual?
The opposite side has an aluminum plate under the plastic shrink tube.
And what is that 2 prong male connector on the left?
I'm new to electric flight and would appreciate any advice as I don't know where to start.

RE: Need help identifying and programming this ESC
Looks like a Towerpro 18A ESC. The connector you are talking about is actually a jumper that determines whether the ESCis used with Lipos or NiMh batteries. With the jumper on use lipos and with it off as photographed use NiMh. I suspect that your foamy runs on NiMH batteries.Hope that was useful and welcome to electric flight. This is just the start of a fairly steep learning curve for you. I have been at it now for almost 12 months and I still learn something new almost every day.

Con,
The foamie formerly used a 2 cell lipo. It's on a different plane now and I'd like to use 3 cell lipo. When you say jumper do you mean the 2 prong connector on left should be shorted (crossed)?
