Cheap but super good motor for flight
This is a great motor! I'm using many kinds and branded motors from the expensive ones to the nonames. This is so far as good for that price. There is no significant difference btw the branded ones and this. I'M using it in a 4.5 kg, 1.5m PITTS, it pulls about 3,5 kg with a 3 blade airscrew. The 70A ESC, which is offered for that perfectly works, still cold at the and of flying, as the motor. With 6S 4000mah lipo I can fly about 15-17 !!! minutes sport flying. SO, many stars and grats to SWANGHOBBY for that product. Regards, George

Nothing like a good, cheap advertisement for yourself, huh? (szewang-SWANGHOBBY)
I'll give your site a look just for kicks.

A 215g motor drawing an average of 16A (perhaps 350W) should be cool after a flight, as should the 70A ESC.......but how warm does it get on 6s at 90A/2000W continuous?

I went and checked out the sight, so-so. Looks like one of those Chinese clearing house sites that sells a bunch of cheap electronics. Motor selection was kinda light, and prices are higher than Hobby King.
I think he could've done a better job of advertising his site by just saying 'Check out our website for your RC needs' or something like that, instead of giving a phony "review" of his own items.

Anyone who suggests that a 215g motor can cope with 2000W is asking for a fall. The "rule of thumb" is that motors can cope with perhaps 3W/g input in terms of heat dissipation- for this motor that's 645W.... 9-10W/g in a cheap Chinese motor is a recipe for melt-down.

Well put Dr Kiwi. In actuality, I don't think the guy even ran the motor, he's just trying to stir up some business. Look at his screen name, then look at the website.
You're right, you would most certainly be asking for trouble trying to push that motor that hard.
