Default Hobby King SS 90-100amp ESC

Just wondering if maybe someone could help me with programing my ESC from Hobby King? They didnt send any sort of instructions with it. The setup that I am using it on is sort of complex and I need the programing to be perfect. I already tried once by taking a suggestion from someone else that it was similar programing It was from suppo models. It didnt work I already burnt out a brand new 5s battery. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Good luck! I have two SS50 ESCs that i can program (or at least get beeps) but cannot get to run the motors. i have tried the Suppo instructions and they didn't, since then I've tried another brand's instructions and a set of downloaded instructions from a supposed guru and still can't get them to work. If I buy any more ESCs from HK I will move up to the Turnigy line.

I used these instructions to program my HK SS 60-70 amp Esc. Dont have a scanner, but I think these pics are readable. Hope this helps.

Terry, these are the instructions I followed in my latest attempt at getting my SS50 working. No joy. Get all the way through the programming, but it doesn't seem to "re-initialize" whatever that is.

Are you using a Futaba radio? If so try reversing the throttle channel.

Here's another hint. Make sure you have reset the "model" to default setting if using a Futaba. I had changed the end settings and had one heck of a time getting the programming to work. Once I reset the mode AND turned down the trime I was able to program the ESC.

Okay, maybe you guys have hit on something. Even though I can (apparently) program the SS50 maybe the throttle volume isn't enough. Next time I have a chance I open it up to 11o% and see what happens.

PS my tx is a Polk TIII and it works just fine with Jeti, CC, Eflight, MaxCim, Dymond, Hacker, GWS and Great Planes SS ESCs.
