ZTW Beatlkes 40 AMP ESC goes to full power on loss of signal
 

I am new to electrics (well last time I flew an electric it had NiCads and weighed a ton. Anyway I'm putting together a power system and am using a LiPo battery, a Tactic TTX 610 transmitter and receiver, and a ZTW Beatles 40 amp ESC. Initially, I was unable to get it program at all, until I located a tech note on ZTW's website saying with Futaba you must reverse the throttle channel Since the Tactic is a Futaba clone (isn't it?) I went ahead and reversed the throttle channel) Now I can get it to throttle just fine, however on loss of signal, It goes full power. As far as I can tell this is not a programmable parameter. Anyone ever run into this? I just don't like the idea of a an "inverted failsafe" Thanks in advance,

Setting the throttle failsafe is covered on page 10 of the Tactic manual. Since you corrected the throttle direction after the receiver was linked or bound to the transmitter you need to go back and perform the linking procedure with the throttle stick all the way down, oh and don't forget to remove the prop first!!

Sir, thank you so much! Gotta love the 6 second fix. I was all wrapped around the axle thinking I had an ESC problem, when you correctly identified that It was radio setup issue. I am now reading the manual for my "simple" radio cover to cover to see what else I missed. Again, thank you a bunch!!
