What motor do I need?

I have a 7.2 600 mah and a 8.4 730 mah. What motor would be best for these batteries? and also what prop? Thanks. G-UNIT!

The biggest question is how many watts out do you need? In addition to Crashing's questions: how much does the plane weigh?

Gws 350c (C) $20 put a gws hd 10x6 prop on it and you get 12 oz thrust at 7.2v and 15 at 8.4v . According to the gws charts it will draw more than 5 amps so you might need a ics300 for 10a $20. But I was running a ics 100 on my 350c and it worked fine( mayby they rate them conservatively)

RE: What motor do I need?

If I remember correctly, the watts per pound rule says 40+ watts per pound for ROG take offs and 60+ for simple aerobatics like loops.

Using Crashes suggestion:
EPS-350C-CS w/ 10x6 draws 7 amps on a 7.2V with 49 watts out
EPS-350C-CS w/ 10x6 draws 9 amps on a 8.4V with 74 watts out.

Both should get you in the air just fine although you might consider a 9x7 prop, it has a little higher amp draw and produces a bit more thrust. See the charts at: [link]http://www.gws.com.tw/english/product/powersystem/eps350c.htm[/link]
