Anyone know how the new Hacker outrunner would be on a Fliton Flubber or the Mini Funtana??

I am thinking about the A20-20L

I was going to get an AXI but the Hackers come with mounts, spare parts and all kinds of goodies that you have to buy for the AXI's

You could try it but be careful on your weight. Hacker says that the A20-20L can only handle between a 12-18oz parkflyer.

I'm flying a 3dfoamy Tiburon bipe (16oz's) with the 20-20L. A bunch of power. I really like the small prop and lots of power. Because of the smaller prop I can get it to torque roll right and left. (That's my hypothesis at least) A bunch of fun. Only about 5 flights on it so far so we will see. I don't have the right battery though as I'm only using a tp 1320 3 cell right now.

I'm using all three sizes of the hacker A20's right now. They're real monsters for the weight and price. The 20L seems to be one of the best mini-funtana systems, using a 3S 2100 thunder power pack and a 12X6 "E" prop (NOT a spoon blade slowfly, but the narrower "E" series). I'm so excited about the value of these (low cost including all the "goodies" as stated above,..i.e. mount, both adapters,etc.) that I've got a couple new designs I'm working on for kits, specifically for these motors. One of them , at 310 squares, 31.5 span, is 7 oz with the 34S and a 2-cell 700 pack, and a little under 10 with the 28M and 3-cell pack(wanted a proper balsa indoor/outdoor plane to hit the 7~8 range and 10~12 range simply by using different power systems), and the latest, that will be kitted first, is 20 oz flying weight with the 20L, 3S 2100 pack, and 12X6 "E" prop . TONS of power. This is pushing the 20L a couple amps above hackers stated "limits", but the motor is basically cold at the end of a flight, and will hover the 20oz plane at about 1/3 throttle, and I know how conservative hacker usually is with their printed specs . Will probably try an 11X5.5 since it's got so much reserve power. I don't know the actual thrust numbers, but it's got to be pretty close to 2 to 1. I just got my first shipment of 26M and 20L combo's to sell. The combo "street prices" are really nice, at $120 for the 20L with 20 amp controller and $110 for the 26M.

I put one of the 20L's on my GWS formosa and all I can say is WOW, for the price of this motor and the power it has I am thinking
(whats a B20-15L 4.4:1) I am almost positive that it is almost or just as powerful as the B20-15L 4.4:1 Probably the best motor for the price anywhere. I would recommend this motor to anyone with any plane under 25oz. I only have a 10X4.7 apc slowflyer prop on it and it will hover the formosa on very low throttle settings. I havent weighed it yet but I am sure its around 17oz. Gary what is the amp pull on that little ducted fan plane you have with the motor you recommend, it looks like a lot of fun. The deltajet-400 with the stock sp400 is 12 amps (about 120 watts) on a 3S 2100 thunder power pack. I recommend a B20 22L which only draws 9 amps (90 watts) but is a nice boost in power compared to the brushed speed400 and gives very long flights. The B20 18L gives more power at 14 amps and about 140~150 watts and would be the max I can officially recommend. Not quite unlimited vertical but really fun. I fly a B50 15L, which is 23 to 25 amps depending on which pack I use (I have various 3S 2100 packs that have been abused to varying degrees hence the difference :) , but the 15L is above both the battery and motor specs and although I have had no problems, it's pushing things really hard. That's the setup I was flying at SEFF last year that would SOG (slide off ground :) ) and has unlimited vertical.
