Need pinion for walkera brushless
hi.
i bought a walkera brushless 3200kv motor but my seller sent me the wrong pinion and hasn't replied to any of my messages so i need to buy a pinion. the people at my hobby shop measured the shaft to be 1.9mm but im not sure thats correct, the motor has one of the flat sides so i think the guy might have measured that side, anyway i need to get a pinion for it, 10 teeth should do, does any1 know where i can get one or have any info i need to know about the motor Thanks in advance ME! |

RE: Need pinion for walkera brushless
Sorry. Between the fact that most members are based in the USA, and the Walkera brand being virtually unknown in the USA, it's going to be tough to find information. We also don't do much business with UK sources, so we're not that familiar with places you can buy things domestically. The best I can do is offer some practical advice:
1. Go back to your vendor and work with them to get the right pinion. You paid for a specific functionality, and you didn't get it. They're morally and ethically obligated to make good. 2. If that fails, get an accurate measurement of the motor's shaft. Buy a digital calipers if you must. Post that information here. My guess is that you've either got a 2mm shaft, or a 2.3mm shaft (if he did indeed measure to the flat). I'm not sure, but perhaps aircraft-world.com could help. They're based in Japan, and ship anywhere, cheap. They might stock pinions. |

ok great,
thanks for your advice. i bought it off ebay, the seller stoped returning my messages. the shaft is the same size as the normal brushed motors you get in cheap cars and £1 fans. will it work if i run some solder down the flat side with the pinion on? or superglue perhaps? i cant buy the capiler because im only 14 and ive spent over £200 this month alone. |

I have the same motor and I used a Hi-Max gear box. This gear box comes with three different gear combo's and pinions. The pinion gear is a tight fit built it does work. It also has a set srcew that uses an Alan wrench that is provided. |
