Phoenix 25 & AXI 2808/24 Buzzing

I bought both new and use a new Thunder Power 2100 3 cell lipo.

The problem is, I have a very high pitch buzz, like when they first start, the entire time the throttle is on, except at full throttle. The power seems week compared to the AXI 2212/34s I have, which do not make the buzz, and the battery gets very hot, very fast in my new plane. This setup is in a Potenski Uzi XXL and should have more then enough power to hover, yet I can't.

So, I want to know if anyone can provide me with the proper configuration for the controller with this setup so I can make sure it's not something simple. If that isn't it, do you think it would be the Phoenix 25 or the AXI that might be bad?

I also have the link and have updated the software...

Thanks for any help you can provide,

Delorian

Do you have a watt meeter. Put it in place and check out your motors draw. If anything like my 2808, it wants over 25 amps at full throttle. I have a phoenix 35 on mine, both controller and battery get a little hot when pushed. I keep my props down to 12X 3.8 apc, any more pitch and it does not like it. All my AXI's buzz from the 2204 to 4130 and also my Hacker 20-22L. Its a motor noise in my case. You should be able to isolate the noise on the ground. If its you controller, send it in for exam to Phoenix. They are good people and will tell you if there is a problem. Most can be repaired for a reasonable amount. If you are not sure of your controllers settings, get out the instructions, clear it out and re-program. Strange things do hapen with electrical stuff. Any sign of a problem, run it down, will save you bucks in the long run.

I had a similar problem with mine and it turned out to be the Phoenix controller, give them a call, their customer service is excellent. Sent the old one in and they sent the new type out that was designed to run the high KV outrunner motors.
