I have a brushless set up in my pz p-51. The thing absolutly rips. There many options and i have read several opinions regarding this. I opted to go with the name brand stuff (again, my preference) I have heard that there are adaptors to use the stock radio with a brushless set up. I went with a Spektrum DX-6 radio, Castle Phoenix 25 esc, E-Flite Park 480, TP 2100 Li-Po. It totally changes the way the plane flies. Flies like stock at 1/2 thorottle. Goes verticle at wide open until you back out. Again there are many cheaper alternatives this just worked out great for me. Got a great referal to a website that has inexpensive components, good stuff too, rchotdeals.com. You will fall in love with this plane with brushless power. Good Luck
