wiring a motor (newbie !!)
 

Hi all

I´m electro-newbie, but experiencied glow flier. I´m building my first electric: a Mugi delta wing. Engine is a 400 size as recomended by mugi designers www.mugi.co.uk
I bought a BEC, a Lipo pack, a 400size motor and a charger.
All is working ok, BUT.....
-BEC wires ends in a female conector, and engine has a pair of flat pins to fit wires. So, what is the right way to connect BEC wires into the motor pins ? I need some connector?
Look at the attached image (ok...not very well in focus...but it explains all ok)

-Second is that mugi needs a pusher configuration, and how must I wire the motor, simply revesing polarity ? or it´s more complex than this ?

When you say BEC, you probably mean ESC, Electronic Speed Control. BEC is battery eliminator circuit, which is usually part of the ESC.

To connect the ESC to the motor, you've got two choices:
1. Find mating connectors, two short lengths of wire, and attach them to the motor.
2. Cut the connectors and solder the ESC directly to the motor.

Make sure you're connecting the correct end of the ESC to the motor.

Reversing the motor is as simple as reversing the polarity, swapping the two wires at the motor. DO NOT swap the wires to the battery!
