how much pressure around a standard 280 brushed motor?

I am trying to mount a bearing around a speed 280 brushed motor, part of a design in order to measure the torque.
Would it be safe to press fit the motor inside the bearing? How much pressure could the stator can take so it doesn't deform?
Thanks

You shouldn't have any trouble doing that. I have seen several Speed motor mounting schemes that rely on a friction fit, though I would personally prefer using the mounting holes. For example, a hose clamp could firmly secure the motor without coming anywhere near deforming the outer casing. You shouldn't need much force to prevent twisting in the mount. Good luck with your configuration.
