how do you hook up twin sped 4000 motors in series

I wanted to use a s3 1300 mah lipo in series with 2 motors can type ,if anyone can help me wth a drawing diagram i would appreciate it

what I remember is I'm right let me know the 6 volt motors in series now become like a 12 volt motor and the amps should be 1/2 that if hooked up in parallel? thanks
thank you suzonka

Correct on the volts and amps;)
I can't add a diagram, but it's pretty simple. Connect the red/+ wire from the ESC to the + input of the first motor, then run a wire from the -/negative terminal of that motor to the +/positive terminal of the second motor, then just connect the black/negative wire from the ESC to the -/negative terminal on the second motor. Done;)
Good luck,
Pete

Gee thanks Pete ,'
I have plenty of those can motors and they are like new, some are geared, so now that I'm into lipos and brush less Id still like to use the speed 400 motors in models that are twins or Ill make them a twin just o use the new lipo batteries , and I don't think I burn them out t twice the voltage and half the amp thanks.
