Default New engine for t-maxx

I've been stuck with horrible engines for the past year and am looking for something new, for a good price. I had traxxas 3.3 and 2.5's, and would like to continue running the same engine but wherever Ilook they're around 130-150$ which is too much for my likings. I have been looking at the SH .21 engines but I can't seem to find any info on them. Are there any good engines for cheap in the market at the moment?

You want a good engine for under $130 (you said $130 - $150 was too expensive)? I think you'd better return to Earth.

+1. Fun costs money. If you want the driveline to stay alive without much fuss, keep a smallblock in it. 3.3cc and smaller. Look at a Dynamite .19T. It's a .19 designed for Traxxas vehicles.

I disagree that a low priced engine will have low speed and fun. They may not be the tire shredders that the $300-400 engines are, but my $100 traxxas and dynamite engines work just fine for my tastes, and are plenty fast. 45,000rpm? Not likely... but fun? I think so. I have a blast with them, even if I'm going up and down my street annoying my neighbors.
