associated pro.28 vs trx 3.3 opinions

Default associated pro.28 vs trx 3.3 opinions

i bought a tmaxx3.3 and it came with the stock 3.3 and an extra ae.28. i cant reallyfind alot on the .28 can anyone compare the 2 for me.the .28 needs a piston or id try it myself but i dont wanna replace it if its not worth it

Unlike the 3.3, the AE .28 is a big block engine. It won't fit without an aftermarket motor mount.

The associated 28 will be a huge difference in power compared to the 3.3

The traxxas 3.3 is smaller than a 21 size motor,

If I had them both I'd sell the 3.3 and buy the mount to convert to the bigblock 28,

I ran one of these in a mta4 1/8 truck, which is the same as a associated mgt and it had heaps of power,

the ae 28 is also very easy tuned and idles very well.
