Default TRX3.3 Crank Case

Gents
I have recently bought a parts bin of a parted out T-Maxx. Included was this crank case. I would like to know if this is usable, or will it cause issues in the long run
Thanks

See attached

You can get one on ebay for under 30 bucks. I don't think I'd risk a motor on it. It might work fine but it might not too. Hard to see exactly what's going on there.

It looks like oil soaked dirt that was packed in behind the front bearing. I agree a clearer picture would be helpful.

Is that broken looking stuff dirt or metal. With what I can tell just looking at it I probably wouldn't use it. I'm a little picky but......

Chuck it in the recycling bin. That case has been run hard, beaten to oblivion, and put away wet. Whether there broken metal or dirt behind the front bearing, the surface of the crankcase between the bearing races looks terrible. Don’t use it - get an eBay chop shopped case and be done with it.
