LRP Z28 SPEC 3 TRUGGY A friend and I run them in our truggies and they are the best, He has a 8ight t like you and it flys with that motor. And I run a VTX ST-1 with the LRP in it and it flys to very very fast and for $170.00 from tower and find the $20 coupon and you get it shiped to you door for $163 that's with shipping and all. Great motor. I am getting out of truggies but if I was going to repower something that is the motor I would go with. Do it you will be very happy.

i would recomend a Go-Tech 21 5 port turbo........ very easy to tune, very powerful, and very good on fuel.... its a race mill so its built very well and have a very high revving powerband.....

Hey guys, I want to replace the stock engine on my Warhead, i just upgraded the complete truck to aluminium parts.. no plastic at all. What engine should i get? The best options... according to my knowledge are:
1. Axil .28RR (new version of the .28)
2. Axil .32
3. LRP Z.28R (truggy version with no pull start)
I will highly appreciate any help.

Get a Mach 427 with pipe, spinstart and everything for $125(it's not the "best truggy engine", but it sure is the best value..), use the rest to take your girlfriend, mom, whatever, out to dinner, and you're covered all around...
