engine tuning problem please help!
 

ok so i just bought an ofna mutilator from a guy. when showing it to me he hit a curb and broke a stupid little knuckle so i ordered it got it but then when i started it the engine just went crazy. when he showed me it it was alot colder outside thats probably part of it. so i reset everything to factory settings it is the .28 engine. i have had two other cars one was an ofna with the same motor and when i got it flames were shooting out the exhaust and i managed to tune that fine and get it working but this has stumped me. i am unable to have it running for more than 2 seconds because a .28 and aftermarket exhaust is pretty dam loud when reving as high as it will. ive looked at others posts and all i can think of is richening it out since no smoke is coming out of the exhaust. the gap in the carb is about 1mm but turning the mid speed or idle screw does not change that idk why. my throttle servo works and nothing sticks so im pretty sure its tuning. if anyone can help me it would be great i tried to add as much detail as i could.
