TRX 3.3 with OS 11K carb
 

I picked up an OS 18TM a few weeks ago that was pretty well whooped but had a good carb on it. Well, during a bash session tonight, my brother in law stripped the threads out of the plastic base where his hsn screws in on his 3.3, so I offered for him to use the carb off my 3.3 and I would go ahead and put the os carb on my rig... something I had been wanting to do for a while, just hadn't got around to it.

All Ican say is wow. The dynamics of tuning have totally changed. It literally took me about 2 minutes to get the engine dialed in, and from then on there was no more fussing. The engine ran beautifully, and throttle response was better than it has ever been. Totally awesome. I will probably never go back to a trx carb.

For anyone who cares, an 11k carb off of an OS 18TM is an exact fit on a 3.3... and totally worth the swap.

Nice! $88 though. Just fixed my plastic one after five tanks of fussing with it. Partially blocked passage.

They are definitely pricey... picked mine up on ebay though. Got a complete 18tm (trashed but rebuildable) with a tuned pipe and header for $30. Cool.

OS 11k carb flooding my revo 3.3.
 

The os 11k is flooding and hydrolocking my revo 3.3. Anyone know how to fix this

It sounds like either the engine is being over-primed or the carb is WAY too rich.
