Engine comparison?
I am currently looking for the new motor and I need you guys to help me out a little. The track I run my car on allows for any motor size in your buggy. Its all the same class no unlimited class or anything. So engine size really isnt a factor here. I was looking at a couple engines in my price range. The Wasp .26, the XTM 24.7 Pro and if I go a little overboard the RB S7II or the S5. The track I run on is realy tight and it would probably benifit me to have more torq. So I was curious how do the Wasp and XTM compare to the RB motors?

RE: Engine comparison?
I can only speak from what I have seen. But if you need low end power, the WASP .26 is a mean machine.[X(]

RE: Engine comparison?
The XTM .21 Pro is what i have and it's a supprisingly good engine, good torque good idle and good top end; I like it, but would prefer the RB WS7-II.

RE: Engine comparison?
The wasp is the cheapest of the .26 engines out and it's pretty good. Plenty of torque for your money. I have the Picco version and it's a beast just not as easy to tune as I'd like. As far as comparing to a RB S7 or anything else high end. IMO the .26 engines are close to the high end engines on the bottom but will not pull the top end like a S7 2 or many other high end engines. If your on a budget get the picco. If you have money to spend get the RB you will be happy you did.
