Nitro content for .15 engine

I just bought a new car with a .15 engine (HPI T-15). The guy at my LHS gave me a bottle of fuel with 10%. But the manual says I should use something in between 16%-26%.

It would be for some off-road bashing, no racing. Can I stick with the 10%? Or should I go for the 16%? Will it make a big difference, 10% or 16%? Can I do the break-in with the 10% and then switch to 16%, or is that a bad idea?

Thanx,
Nick

I would run 20% for break in and then always ru n20% after that. Sometimes 10% is little and 30% is too much. If you just want some reliable power for bashing 20% will deliver for you.

its true... my t-15 tends to run its best on 20% trinity monster HP... and if you switch from 10% to 20% you should see an increase in engine performance

The 10% nitro fuel is just for "breaking in" the engine. If you follow closely the
break-in process of Nova or italian made Engines you will find out that they require
10% nitro fuel for break-in. After break-in you can use 20% nitro.......
