Measuring Engine Temp?

Hey there...

As I'm getting more into racing and bashing my Nitro 1/10 buggie, I was thinking I should be taking more precautions.

So, I would be greatful if somebody could point me in the right direction of a product or method to measure my engine temperature...

Am I right in saying it should be running 240-260 after it's fully warmed up?

Im from the UK by the way!

Many thanks for any help!

Jack

I find that onboard temp gauges are best. Venom and MIP both have nice ones. You can see the current temp, but also the max and min, which lets you know the temps were you reaching when you were actually running, not when you've stopped and are idling. The engine temp will vary from engine to engine, but around the mid 200's is a good starting point

Get an onboard temp gauge. That's going to be my next upgrade
