Help on Infinity Samurai 528 engine

Hello forum,

I would like to know how the "spray nozzle" of the Samurai 528 engine should be adjusted.

I know the manual says "There is no need to adjust this" - but I have had the whole carburetor disassembled, and I need to readjust the spray nozzle.

The drawing of the carburetor in the manual can be found here:

The whole manual can be downloaded here (in case this could help):

http://team-infinityrc.com/download/...anual%20-2.pdf

Please advise.

Thank you.

Regards,
Futterama

Are you referring to the spray bar? I believe this does not need to be adjusted as it doesn't matter which angle it is at. (open end spray bar)

If the spray bar's hole is offset or at an angle it should be towards the engine crankcase.

Why do you need to adjust it? It may be a permanent setting.

I don't know what you mean by spray bar.

And I wrote in my first post why I need to adjust it: "but I have had the whole carburetor disassembled, and I need to readjust the spray nozzle".

I talked to the shop where I bought the engine, and I had him measure how far the adjustment skrew was from "flush" on a brand new engine, and it turns out that I need to keep turning the skrew clockwise until I meet some resistance (hitting the rubber gasket inside the carb.). This is about 1.5mm from flush for your reference.

So my problem is solved :-)

Glad to hear the problem is solved! I have taken a picture and have shown what the spray bar/LSN looks like. Is this similar to what you are talking about?

Yes, I think so.
