Infinity help

I am fairly new to the rc field but i have succesfully raced my car for two months now with no real problems, until now.
I was out the other day when it lost power and stalled. On inspection one of the 2 screws holding the carb in place had come loose, and i presume this allowed the mixture to run too lean and hence stall.I must mention at this point that the carb had not come off the engine it was just a little loose, so no dust etc could have got in.After sorting this out i have been unable to start the engine, properly, it does run but for seconds only.
The fuel sytstem is leak proof, compression is fine and i have tried a new glow plug.I have noticed that when i pressurise the fuel sytsem some leaks out at the end of the output shaft just behind the fly wheel.
Could anyone point me in the right direction.
Cheers
Martin

Cheers for the ideas.
Just tried all that still no joy , infact i spent so long at it i had to drain fuel out of the exhaust that had been pulled through the engine.
