Help on my RB TM323 carb needle holder!

Hey all,

GOt a little problem with my REVO - I have a TM323 RB Concept motor on it, and the little brass "main needle holder" threads have gotten stripped and will no longer hold the assembly together. The carb body appears to be fine, so all I need is the little brass piece.

I'm having trouble getting the part from RB, does anyone know if this part crosses over to any other motor / carb?? Seems like the Trinity Sirio .23 Revo motor is the same motor with different name. Maybe I can get parts for that easier?

Any help would be much appreciated. :D

Thanks, jer.

I had to get one for my Sirio .23 a few months ago. Let me see if I can find that part#. I do believe they're the same engine also.

The part # and name for the Sirio one is S23160005 INTAKE FUEL SET. I would call Kyosho USA in Cali. They ship quick. I had to order the high speed screw that goes in the part you're looking for. Their # is 1-800-716-4518 and ask for Customer service.

definitely going to be a challenge to find that part nowadays, it appears the last post in this thread was 13 years ago. and Sirio is not known for keeping parts available for long on discontinued models as it was. coupled with "Sirio" no longer producing engines.
might have to find either a compatible piece to another engine, or find a used parts engine on ebay.

What you need to do is measure the neck of the carb where it goes into the engine. It’s probably a common size and can be sourced from Novarossi. A Picco carb would probably work a treat as well. If the old 523 (made by Novarossi it I’m not mistaken anyway) didn’t use Venturi inserts, now it will be able to. I’ll bet a carb from any of their current production engines will work. It’ll just depend on what you have the engine installed in as to which carburetor you should use. I would get one that has a 9mm insert though. The Truggy 28-8 carb should fit the bill. Measure the neck ID in the crankcase or the OD of the carb that fits inside the engine and post it. I can measure my carbs and see what would fit.
