Engine/pullstart HELP!!
 

i bought a new truggy a few weeks ago but after taking it out 2day i tried pulling the start but it comes out ok but wen it tries to go in it gets stuck so i have to loosen the glow plug and it goes in ok!! so can any1 help me??

Sounds as if the 1-way bearing is jamming, I'd remove the backplate and check it out.

na m8 its still no gd but the pull start dose go back in but slow and chunks a bit [&o]

So the 1-way bearing was ok then? The only other thing i can think of is that the internal mech of the pullstart is catching on the backplate somehow... but that wouldn't explain how it works when you loosen the plug :eek:

Maybe you could shoot some motor spray/"Nitro Cleaner" down inside the cords hole? Sometimes exhaust oil gets down in there and gets all thick and gummy...that and a little dirt mixed in...[:'(]
It would work better if you took it off the engine first, of course, so the crud had somewhere to drain.
