Picco
what, picco makes those too?

what else dose Picco make?

so the main manufactures are SH, Picco, and Novarossi, and king star. is these anyone who makes there own engine instead of buying and putting there name on it?

Sorry, off topic.

Yah thunder tiger and OS! SH does not make thier own engines. They are made by Golden lion which also makes a huge range of other names. Toki also makes alot of other engines for others.

I think STS and Go Tech make there own aswell. so if you think about theres really only a few different manufactures, just which name do you want on it

mega engines are good, they have good speed and good tuning, they are also very reliable, there was a guy in my group at a race that has have the one in his car for 2 years!! was supriced, of course it was lacking speed, even my SH engine was good with him in the straight, but still i was suprised!!

Mega engines are Picco made engines...... they need to be setup and piped correctly to make full power............ Not too many SH mills will run with a setup Picco engine...

How old is it?
Novarossi made "Mega" engines for a while too...I've got several NovaMega engines, and they have purple heads.

If I have the history right, Serpent had Picco make them for a while, but there was a durability problem so they went to Novarossi...but for some reason or another they went back to Picco.

What color is the head's heat sink?
The newer (current ) ones made by Picco are orange.

i saw one at the track this week, it had a gold head on it, i thought it was a go 7 port, he said look for mega or serpent. it ran great all week then on racing day got an air leak.

Kingstar (under the name "Nitrostar").
I do not know if the F engines (F4.1 & F4.6) are Kingstar engines though.

now i have one of these with the 2046 efra pipe. wow, what an impressive motor. it really makes my S5 look like a sport motor now. i went up a tooth on my clutchbell to tame it down a bit and it fly's. why are these motors not seen more or heard of? i got it from a buddy of mine with less than a gallon on it so it still has some loosening up to do. i've done some searches and seen some flame out issues and air leaks, but nothing major. i just feel sorry for my hyper st and the beating the drivetrain is gonna get now.;)
