NTC3 TA 512tb engine problem
 

hi folks, does anyone know whats going on with my Team infinity 512tb engine? Fitted with slide carb it will start up fine but its kicking out major sh1t from the exhaust ya know oil and fair amount of smoke. anyway it started off it was running fine for 2 minutes. then it would start to change tone and idle too high, and higher and higher untill it is idleing at high revs *clutch engaged enough to drive it whacky*

now its got to the point where it is struggleing to idle atall, any throttle jabs kill it, and if i just leav it to tick over once its warm it shoots up on its own accord...

Just so you know i am comfortable with tuning and adjusting needles.

I am starting it slightly rich, and even leaning out the low end is not helping much. ive restored factory settings about 5 times whiles i have been trying with it.

Ive had it stripped and all seems to be fine. a few days ago compression was great, and now it feels a little bit weaker.

Seems to be letting in air, and i wanna try solve it before i buy a new engine!

BTW has run about half a gallon so is fairly new

Anyone know whats happening here?
