RE: I Heard....
Ok Here's some facts.
43% 260
Wingspan - 126"
Length - 118"
Cowl width - 16.25"
wing area - 2873
Brian Huffmier has the prototype which he is building for Mike M. The weight is unknown at this time as is kit release date. For those who don't know, carden has a new 32.5% yak 54 which was on display at toledo. The 35% 260 will be available at the end of the year.

RE: I Heard....
The specs are correct. Its going to have the 4 cylinder DA-200 in it at least at first. Should be an awesome airplane. Its a sr=traight blow up of the Carden 40% 260 with a little different construction to save weight.
I believe Dennis is holding off on deciding if it'll be a production airplane or not until we fly it. I have high hopes for it though.

RE: I Heard....
I Really am in love with DA and I hope to God they can start pumping out these engines. I understand that they had issues with there 75 and they want only the ABSOLUTE BEST when it comes to their products, but 3W is smokign them right now as far as variety goes. DA has some of the GREATEST engines on the market, but they need to put out their 75 for the 33%'s and a 200 sure would be nice for the 43%'s.
It seems liek DA has to come with the 200 now that yall are building this plane around it, even though you could always fall back on 3W.
I sure hope DA comes through for yall!

RE: I Heard....
That would be awful if DA came out with a 166...I just dont see that being very cutting edge. 3W,ZDZ, Kroma engines all have larger displacent engines...why cant DA do this? People have been wanting this engine for years...Hopefully that is just rumor. I keep hearing from others that it is larger than a 200cc, and is a Twin....Fingers Crossed.

RE: I Heard....
Just call DA people. Last I spoke with Jeff from DA he gave me the 411 on the DA 75 and 200. He said the 75 would be sometime this summer (be it a 75 or 80 whatever) and the 200 size would be a twin. They never said the exact cc or anything but seriously just call them and ask them. A new 260 Carden would be neat for sure.
