Default FAO CenRacing - Steel Spurs 38/42 NOT 47/44

Now then guys - Ive come across items FF102 and FF103 on your site, just [link=http://www.cenracing.com/cars/ff/fftuningparts.html]here[/link] but theres no price there. Is this due to them not having gone into production yet or are they not going to be produced at all?

I for one would love a set if they are as hard as the Genesis spurs. They look a whole lot lighter too.

Cheers for any help.

(think i edited it properly this time... 6th edit now i think...)

I've had a set on my MT2 for like 2 months. They are similar to the Genesis spurs, but are quite light because of the cross drilling.

I think u jumped the gun there guys... I am of course aware of the 47 and 44t gears for the MT, but was asking about the 38 and 42t gears, never seen or heard anything about them. Click the link in my first post, and check the description.

Probably a typo on CENs site then eh? I hope not tho.

lol. oops!

I think it must be a typo, because they do not list the 47 and 44 t gears. And customrccars.com lists them as 102 and 103.

It is more than likely a typo. The part numbers that they have listed are the ones for the 47/44 gears. And it woulndn't make sense for them to have the same part number for two different parts.

Aye - I was thinking as much, but hoped the typo was in the part number rather than the description... Ah well, Ive got 2 sets of the alloy 1st and 2nd gear hubs on order so Ive got the Genesis spur option still.

These big blocks like to kill the 2 speed in any way they can - bearings, 2 speed clutch, 2nd gear hub and the 1st gear 1 way bearing, all of it basically... just a warning...

Im even beginning to believe that the os 18 is honesty the biggest/pokiest motor that the FF can handle (ish)

But that wont put me off... Im currently bidding on some nice bits on ebay... rolland - you should be proud if I win!

I hope that you do win.

The next time I have my Mammoth tranny out I should see if it would be possible to adapt one to the FF's. The only problem that I might have is the 60/65 spurs. But with some creative use of spacers and a dremmel it shouldn't be to big of a problem.

It has to be a typo, judging by the response that CEN provides with email support I am guessing they aren't too familiar with using a keyboard

Doh.

Any chance of steel 42 and 38T spurs coming out in the future?
