VW beetle bodyshell

Default VW beetle bodyshell

I have been looking around all the normal places but cannot seem to find a VW Bug body in 1:10 scale. I figured it would be the ideal choice for the sand basher i am building. Any ideas?

Scouser..i just finished my HPI Body shell...just to give you an idea how it would look like..

I didn't liked the extra parts (Back cover, motor) so i ditched them...still looks great

Loving the paint job!! Never seen anything like it before. Is that the HPI Beetle?

Yes..that's HPI Body shell.....just used amsking tape for the stripes....first painted the orange, the yellow and ended with black - all airbrushed -....lot's of tape cutting..but worth it i think..although it has it's details i think is not bad at all for mi first paint job....

i'll try to post some detailed pictures...better quality

You can also find baja shells made for Kyoshos and tamiyas.
