Default RE: when do you change the ballbearing?

My front started leaking in the 12th gallon.Although it didnt affect the tune,I could tell because all of a sudden my after-run oil started leaking out,and the way I maintain my truck,I knew it was a problem. The rear bearing was in good shape and the front looked good, however after I changed both bearings on a complete rubuild my after-run oil doesnt leak out of the front bearing anymore

If your seeing anything leaking or you feel extra slop when checking the bearings you should change them. If you run on sand alot then you might need to, that stuff is killer on parts. Do you race? If so you should change ur bearings often because you never know when .1 of a second will help. But as long as everything is working fine just clean/oil them and have fun. hope this helps
