Those GST 7.7's are nice trucks; I actually thought about buying one but the only thing holding me back is that I am nort very good at tuning nitro engines.
Who knows; maybe I will buy one later on in the future. |

Fun trucks! Good job on the pics.
A lot of people (and hobby shops) badmouth CEN because of their lack of customer service, but the GST is an awesome unit. Just make sure to spend a few minutes checking all of the screws and linkage. If you are having major tuning issues, search here for the check valve mod. I'm not sure if the newer engines have the same issues as the old ones. For spare parts, you will want a set of A arms (all 4 corners are the same), and you will likely want A NEMESIS steel front drive shaft and yokes as the GST plastic one isn't too tough. Oh, and a spare axle shaft (swingarm?) but CEN did upgrade them mid production on the GST so the newer ones are pretty good. Eventually... you may want a stronger steering servo / dual steering servo mod. These things are really heavy, and really tough. I'm sure you will enjoy it. |

RE: My new ride ~ GST 7.7
I've got one, trust me, your gonna want to get new servos, guaranteed. The stock ones just don't cut it. You can get some cheap, but good ones on ebay. I bought those 208oz $30 ones on ebay, and I love em. I really had my doubts about them cause they're so cheap, but it turns out, they're really good. But trust me, you're gonna want to upgrade the stock ones.

Yes, those are the correct parts to do the conversion.
I broke my Genesis (old version of GST) plastic front shaft the very first day I had it. All it takes is a hard landing with some throttle and it just snapped :( How are you liking the GST compared to the LST so far? |

GST is biggest , high tourque engine , 3 speed , 4WS option & more adjustable on a-arm....etc. LST XXL speed is fatster & better handling . Haha , I would say both are good truck. |

RE: My new ride ~ GST 7.7
Very happy for you man, I remember how excited I was when I opened my brand new GST. I think you'll love the truck, i've owned just about every truck there is and it was one of my favorites. It's very powerful but turns like a freight train lol, but it is still a blast to drive. I sold my GST a while back but i'm buying a new one and converting it to brushless and running lipos. Have fun!

RE: My new ride ~ GST 7.7
off topic but hey i have tested all the fuels for the 7.7 and i have found out the best fuel is byron race 20% (orange) cen reccomends werks racing fuel but that fuel is very poor quality and it is more pricy byron race has the best power and cleanest burn
