Do somebody know what kind of fluid to put on the MT2 diff?

we use CEN 2000 diff fluid. It is a silicone oil that is extremely thick. Some people call it "Diff-locking fluid" But it doesn't actually lock the diffs. Our part # for this fluid is G70101.

Are the MT2 diffs sealed then? the ones in my rally have holes on each side - I thought they were the same in the MT2.

Are the sealable ones an upgrade part?
Either way - do you have a part number for the sealable ones please?

They are not completly sealed to hold light fluids. If you use really thick grease or the "Diff Locker" fluid that stuff is so thick it will not come out. The outdrives also fill in the holes are the sides and help seal things up. Run the thich fluid and you will be good-to-go.

Has anyone tried filling the funfactor diffs with this "Diff Locker" oil? I assume they don't make actual Diff Lockers for the funfactors? Has anyone worked out a way to truly lock the differentials on their funfactor? Would help a lot on onee of the spots I go to.

Poor judgement.. the mt2 diffs are not sealed. I think they are the same as what you have. I have had limited success in sealing them with associated green slime around the edges of the case and the screws, but it didn't last long enough to be worth the effort.. Now I use associated black grease and have been experimenting with some wurth automotive grease that seems to hold up well and its pretty stiff...
