mt2 engine help

My mt2 has been sitting in the garage all winter w/o the air filter on. I looked inside the carb and it looked dusty. What should I do before firing it up?

Take the carb off and spray with carb cleaner (gumout). While you are at the parts store pick up some copper silicone sealant and put a small bead of sealant around the carb before installation.

clean it out as best you can with out pushing any of the dust into the engine.
