On my mt2 the engine will sputter and is very hard to tune( seems to be no in between of fuel mix)

Hiya,
Firstly check the glow plug, even if you think its ok change it to see if that helps.
Then if you havent done so already go back to the factory setting on the HSN, and see if you can run ok rich. Then slowly lean it out.
Failing that, check fuel lines and fuel filter to see if theres a problem with your fuel delivery.
Check the fuel it could be stale, try some from a new bottle.
Next take the carby to bits and give it a good clean out.
Just try and eliminate all the possibilities, starting simple and getting more complicated if and when you have to.
Also theres a possibility that theres an air leak somewhere.

The first time I started mine, it sputtered and ran pretty rough and would die when I removed the glow igniter. I had to lean it out from the factory setting a little and it runs pretty good now. I am only 4 tanks into it, but I don't anticipate having to do to much more adjustment.

Have you finished breaking in the motor? If not you need to finish the break in procedure. The engines manual can be downloaded from CEN's website.
If you have finished breaking in the motor reset the carb to factory specs and change the glow plug then start tuning like the manual say's. Remember tune the HSN first then tune the LSN.

There is also a possibility that you have an airleak somewhere. To correct this you will need to tear the motor apart and re-seal it.

well i have changed glow plugs, and reset the settings but it is still seems to be no right setting. But i havent checked for air leaks. i will have to do that thanks rolland
